Belgian Gelding

JR arrived just before Christmas 2023 and was a front-horse on a 4-horse driving team from a young age. After sustaining a right coffin-bone fracture, he was given to a therapeutic riding program for light riding and was not ridden due to his very large size and faster-than-anticipated stride. He was given back to his original owners, who unfortunately could no longer care for him, and has since made his way to HORSE of CT where he was met immediately with an audience of 'wow's. He is an excellent gentleman that stands patiently for the vet and farrier, and is very cooperative for grooming.

JR is on light rest for a few months while we make sure that his previous injuries are tended to and healed completely.
