February is Sponsor A Horse Month! Sponsorship Levels: Kiss ($10): one bag of kisses for your sweetheart and one visit with your sponsored horse; Pony ($25): a stuffed pony for your child or sweetheart and one visit with your sponsored horse; Full ($50): one bag of kisses, a stuffed pony and four visits in February with the horse of your choice.

Saturday and Sunday, February 4 - 5: Spring Undercover Tag and Tack Sale, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Come find that perfect item for the horses and people in your life. Rain or shine.

Saturday, March 17: Agway Agriventures, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Horse of CT will be at Western Connecticut State University for this event. Please visit our booth.

Saturday, April 14: Volunteer Day, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Cleaning and fixing up the farm, grooming and walking horses. Please bring your own tools if you have them. Lunch provided. Rain date Sunday, April 15.

Saturday, April 28 - Basic Horse Care Clinic, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Learn the basics of caring for horses. Demonstrations provided. $10 per attendee.

Saturday, May 19: Spring Open House, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Come celebrate spring with the horses. Pony rides for small children, boutique sale, tack sale, hourly tour, silent auction. Take a tour and meet the horses - don't forget to bring carrots! Rain date Sunday, May 20.

Saturday, June 2: Horse Show, 2 - 4 p.m. Come and see our horses in hand and under saddle.

Saturday, June 23: Horses and Heroes, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. All veterans are invited to visit the farm to ride, walk and groom horses, help with chores, and build fences. Lunch provided. Limited to 25 veterans.

Saturday, July 7: Volunteer Day, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Cleaning and fixing up the farm, grooming and walking horses. Please bring your own tools if you have them. Lunch provided. Rain date Sunday, July 8.

Saturday, July 28: Horse Seminar, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Vet, farrier, dentist, training demonstrations, feed and hay suppliers to answer your questions. $10 per attendee.
